Minutos de Sra. Hutchins

Hello Fronteras Families!

Thank you for a great couple of weeks! This quarter is scootin’ right by! Good news, Fronteras families: While our school is in GREEN (low risk), parent volunteers are welcome to volunteer. If you are interested in volunteering, please reach out to your child’s teacher to inquire about needs, and to arrange the day and time that you wish to volunteer. Please understand the differing feelings that each individual has with regard to COVID. If your child’s teacher is not comfortable having additional individuals in their classroom, you may be asked to work on a project from home or in the workroom.

Thank you to our Student Ambassadors and Student Government for designing the fun Spirit Week that started today! Below are the remaining themes for next Monday through Thursday!

Mono Monday – dress in one (1) color

Twin Tuesday – choose a friend and dress like one another

Crazy Sock Wednesday – pull up those pant legs and show your snazziest socks

Decade Thursday – saddle shoes, poodle skirts, bell bottom jeans, big hair, fedoras, top hat and cane, oversized sweatshirts, peg leg pants, flapper dress, pin striped suit

Remember that Friday, March 4th is a Work Day – no school for students!

Thank you for supporting our middle school’s Waffle Wednesday, Monday morning! We appreciated your patience and understanding while the few hiccups were worked out. Thank you to all the volunteers who stepped in to help! Fun activities like this are possible because of your awesome support!

Please check out the photos of our Spanish Spelling Bee participants and top finishers, our JNYO athletes, our Fronteras wrestling and volleyball teams, and some very adorable 100 year old Kindergartners!

Wishing everyone a fabulous weekend!

Most Sincerely,

Mrs. Hutchins
