Recycling

What is recycling?
The exact definition is: convert (waste) into reusable material.
Recyclable materials include many kinds of glass, paper, metal, plastic, textiles and electronics. Although similar in effect, the composting or other reuse of biodegradable waste is not typically considered recycling. Materials to be recycled are either brought to a collection center or picked up from the curbside, then sorted, cleaned, and reprocessed into new materials bound for manufacturing.
How are they recycled?
The materials get taken to a recycling factory where they are sorted. Everything is then smashed together and then created in to something else.
Why is recycling good for the environment?
Recycling is very important because we want our planet to be clean and to go on to our kids and their kids... It is also good because we are reusing materials. The three r's reduce re-use recycle :)
