We pray that you are doing well and staying safe in this pandemic. This school year started out differently, but with your help, we have made this transition a smooth one. Everything is not perfect, but will continue to do our very best for your son/daughter.

Attendance
Attendance will be captured daily through Zoom. Teachers will record attendance for every session. Each school shall use the attendance reported at 9:00 a.m. for its daily attendance entry in SAM. Attendance for students who do not have access to the internet shall be reported and recorded weekly based on the completion of instructional packets. If you do not have access to internet, please contact us at 601-786-3919.
Report Cards
Report cards will be available on Thursday, October 15, 2020.
Hybrid Learning Pathway
We will begin the Hybrid Learning Pathway on October 12, 2020. The Hybrid Learning Pathway will be two days at school and two days at home doing asynchronous learning. More details will be available soon.
Virtual Parent Academy
We will have another Virtual Parent Academy session on Thursday, October 8, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. Please make plans to attend. You may register by going to www.jcpsd.net/reopening.

Congratulations to Carmen Kennedy for scoring a 21 on the ACT on her very first attempt. Carmen is a sophomore and she plans to pursue a career in law. We are so proud of our scholar.
