Region 11 MAP Users Conference:
During your Annual Assessment Training, I will spend time talking about changes in state assessments and the future of MAP in Keller ISD. Based upon feedback from our 13 pilot campuses, 93% recommended district-wide implementation. Beginning this fall, elementary/intermediate/middle school campuses will administer MAP!
Region 11 will host a MAP users conference on Feb. 18 from 7:30am - 3:00pm This is a great conference to attend! Attendees will hear from other districts who have implemented MAP, what the data looks like, and how they use it. We have secured funds to pay for 3 people from each campus if this is something you are interested in! If you can't attend, don't worry, we will provide plenty of PD!
During annual assessment training, we will review the implementation plan, training plan, and PLC support for 2020-2021.
Conference attendees will need to register by clicking the link below. Email PD forms to Jennifer Sanchez for processing.

The following question has been posed: Do we want to offer a reimbursement of the remaining balance of $54.00 dollars to a family whose student is no longer going to take an AP test. We will discuss what your campus prefers regarding reimbursements on Tuesday at the conclusion of our Annual Assessment training and determine best plan moving forward.

PSAT Invoice - Action required by January 24th: CTCs can now access the Test Ordering System (TOS) to complete the invoicing process for PSAT/NMSQT:
- Review answer document counts and billing information
- Review grade levels for accuracy and make grade-level adjustments if needed to ensure that schools and districts do not incur additional costs .
- Select juniors eligible for SAT fee waiver benefits from a roster of students. Providing coordinators ordered fee waivers when ordering tests, they will click the names of students on the test roster in TOS who are eligible for the full set of SAT fee waiver benefits and grant the students access to the SAT fee waiver benefits. Clicking students online in TOS has no impact on the invoiced amount since 11th graders are covered by the district contract. Students acknowledge that they are eligible for SAT fee waiver benefits when they log into their College Board account. If students do not confirm eligibility, they can ask their counselor/ CTC or campus designee for a fee waiver card with a code to activate benefits in the future.
- Please see PSAT/NMSQT invoice timeline

AP Potential Rosters ( Pool of Students) - Have been generated on CB website and place in your campus secure folder. Things to note about these rosters as Counselors,/Administrators review these names:
- A pool includes all students who have the minimum exam score associated with earning an AP exam score of 3,4,or 5 using a set pool percentage.
- The recommended pool level is 60% which is what was used to pull these rosters, if you would like them re-pulled using a different percentage please notify marjorie.martinez@kellerisd.net and we will be happy to take care of this.
- Since our pool was set a 60%, these reports reflect students whose probability of receiving an AP exam score of 3,4, or 5 is anywhere between a 60%-100%.
