Vocabulary words

Cutthroat: noun- a murderer or other violent criminal. Embankment: noun- a wall or bank of earth or stone built to prevent a river from flooding an area. Resentment: noun- bitter indignation at having been treated unfairly. Sandpipers: noun- a wading bird with a long bill a typically long legs, nesting on the ground near water and frequenting coastal areas on migration. Scurvy: adjective- worthless or contemptible. Obliged: verb- make (someone) legally or morally bound to an action or course of action. Flummoxes: verb- perplex (someone) greatly;bewilder. Foliage: noun- plant leaves, collectively. Brambles: noun a prickly scrambling vine or shrub especially a blackberry or other wild shrub.
One thing the reminds me of home are rivers because I live in the country where there are rivers and streams. Another one is the trees because trees surround my house and neihborhood. I also have a stuff animal that always stays on my bed.
