Christianity
Christianity is the World's largest religion and a very diverse on, it has about 2.4 followers. Christianity began in Southwest Asia and then spread to Europe where the Christian missionaries spread their faith around the world. Christians (people who believe in Christianity) believe in the Holy Trinity,they believe God to be three beings in one, the Holy spirit,God the father, and God the son. Christians believe that God the father is the creator of the universe and everything is in his power. They believe that Jesus (God's son) came down to earth as a man and died on a cross to save us from our sins (wrong doings). Christian holidays are Easter and Christmas.

The Creator of the Universe. The first person of the Trinity with supreme authority.

Jesus, the second person of the Trinity, came down on earth and was crucified to save us.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost) is third person of the Trinity. The Bible says once you accept God the Holy Spirit comes into your heart and guides you to the right path.

The cross is one of the symbols of christianity. The cross represents the crucifixion of Jesus. The cross is the most well known symbol of christianity

Christian churches are were people go and praise and worship God. They listen to sermons from the pastor and pray to God.

A worship leader in christianity is usually a pastor or minister. Pastors preach from the Bible and sometimes also gives advice or counseling to the people and the congregation.

The Bible
Christians believe that the Bible is the word of God.The Bible has two sections, the old testament and the new testament. The old testament contains information on how the world was created and the coming of a savior to save us of our wrong doings. The new testament is about the birth of the savior,Jesus, and his teachings and crucifixion.
Holy Communion
Holy communion is a tradition or sacrament churches do. Communion is where you take bread and grape juice and eat it during service. Some churches only let people who have been baptised eat and some churches let all people eat. Christians do this to remember The Last Supper. The Last Supper is Jesus's last meal before his crucifixion. During the Last Supper Jesus takes bread and wine and breaks the bread and gives it to his disciples (Jesus's followers) and says that this is his body and the wine is his blood and he gives it to us.
Church of the Holy Sepulchre
The Church of the Holy Sepulchre is also known as The Church of Ressurection. According to traditions the church has the 2 most holiest sites, the site where Jesus was crucified and Jesus's empty tomb.
