Warming Up and Cooling Down

Warming Up

Warming up is very important because muscles are like rubber bands. if you stretch cold rubber bands they are more likely to break (you can get hurt). So you want to raise your body temperature before any kind of hard exorcise.

Cooling Down

Cooling down is important. Image that every time you drive your car you drive it super fast then at a red light you hit the breaks at the last second. Your car would totally start to wear down. The same is true for your body. You have to stop more gently and slow or else you will wear out your body.
