What does going green mean?

going green means implementing certain lifestyle changes designed to help you live in a more eco-friendly way. It means becoming more environmentally aware and changing your behavior and lifestyle to reduce the amount of pollution and waste you generate.

The Six Senses Con Dao in Can Dao, Vietnam

Not only is this hotel gorgeous but it is also built entirely from organic and sustainable building materials. The structure of the building maximizes air flow so that there is less need for air conditioning which not only saves the environment but also offers the hotel extra money.

The Park Hyderabad in Hyderabad, India

The Hyderabad's gorgeous architecture allows more natural light into the building which lowers the needs for electricity. They also provide eco friendly ways of transportation around the city.

Lapa Rios Ecolodge in Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica

This hotel does something a little different. Poaching and deforestation are a major issue in Costa Rica and the Lapa Rios pledged to protect their 1,000 acres within its private reserve. They have saved thousands of trees and animals in the process.

Campi ya Kanzi in Mtito Andei, Kenya

This hotel contains a series of little huts all made from local trees that fell naturally. It also has solar panels that provide 220 volt electricity for the entire grounds. Lowering the deforestation and pollution rate everyday.
