War of 1812
U.S Perspective on The War of 1812
The U.S. Perspetive
The United States was not always it's own country. It took a lot for the U.S. to get were it is today. The war of 1812 also played a part in this epidemic. The United States was eager to prove their independence from the British's Empire. With that Americans protested the British Empire, confined their trade and taking their sailors to serve on British ships. This caused a conflict between the two countries, even thought they were on thin ice anyway. The U.S. wanted to end the British Empire's policy of having an impact on American sailors into the royal navy. Even though the British believe that this was a success for them and was most definitely a success to Americans. This war has boosted the nations pride and self-confidence. Many Americans celebrate he war as a "second war of independence." This war also marked the demise of the Federalist Party That is not it though, This war also encouraged the growing spirit of an American expansion that would shape the better part of the 19th century. This war changed the United States extremely.
