From now on, you'll check Google Classroom for your work each week. If you are not able to access Google Classroom, please send me an email so I can help you figure out how to get access.


To access Google Classroom: Go to www.google.com If parents are on their personal account, they must log out of it first. Have the student log in with his/her school Google account. Click on the App menu (Rubik's Cube) and choose Google Classroom. All 3rd through 5th graders should have already joined their respective Library Skills Google Classroom for their homeroom teacher. The title of the google class you want to click on will be in the format, Teacher's Name (grade) Library Skills/Health. We are sharing Google Classroom with Health so make sure you are looking for the assignments by choosing Classwork and then Library Skills from the left hand side menu of the screen.

Grades K-5 Keyboarding Without Tears (work for no longer than 35 minutes)

2. Choose "student login"

3. Enter the educator pin for your teacher-see this document for a list KWT LOGIN INFO

4. Select your class.

5. Find your name and click on it.

6. Click on the letters or numbers in your secret code. (do not click and drag these

letters/numbers-just click on each one in the correct order)

7. Work on the program for about 35 minutes. As you know, because we use this in class, the

program will save your progress. Next time you log on, you'll pick up where you left off.


If KWT freezes, doesn't work, is bogged down feel free to work on an alternate assignment from the choice board.
