The interior doors will now lock shortly after block 1 begins. Please check in at the front office when you arrive.
Those students enrolled in Work Experience, need to make contact with Mr Wandler in Period 3 or 4 (room 1910) in order to complete your requirements to start collecting hours for you credits.There will be no grade assemblies this semester. All information and reminders will be shared in Student Happenings on Feb. 12th

Grad Service Project Events
Are you in love? Do you want to be in love? Well, you are in luck! For the week of February 5-9, we will be selling Valentine Day grams (roses, chocolates, valentines) in the gathering area. Send the person who means the most to you something special to be hand delivered on Valentine’s Day in class. All proceeds are going to the Grad Service project.
There will be a popcorn sale, in the Gathering area, on Tuesday, Feb. 5 at noon. The cost is $1 a bag and all proceeds go to the Grad Service Project.
Grad 2018
Please submit your write ups to Mrs Elphick in room 2804 or in the box during your grad photo's. This write up will be read as you walk across the stage as well as be under your grad photo in the yearbook. Any questions see Mrs Elphick or Mrs Nivens

Red Deer College Entrance Awards Review Sessions
For students who are planning to attend RDC in the fall, the deadline to apply to entrance awards is March 31. If you have questions about your entrance awards application, RDC will be on site at ND on February 13 to help. Book your 15 minute appointment today (spots will be limited). The sign up sheet is on Ms. Halter's office door.
Career Expo
CAREERexpo is Central Alberta’s largest student-focused career event, representing over 50 career paths. Students will have the opportunity to talk face to face with industry leaders representing hundreds of careers and post-secondary options. All grade 11 students will have the opportunity to attend this event. More details to come.
ND Reading Program
The Notre Dame Reading Program (NDRP) is an online community of readers with the goal to eliminate reading loss and continue to immerse ourselves in great stories through the semester. NDRP is hosted on Google Classroom. When you finish a book, post the title, author and a short review of your book. At the end of the semester, every student who posted will be entered to win a $50 gift card to Chapters. If you would like to join NDRP, enter this code into Google Classroom: d3bsoc2
Speak Out
Attention all poets and writers! The Learning Commons is hosting the monthly Speak Out: The Student Poetry Slam on Thursday, Feb. 15 at lunch (with juice and hot chocolate provided)! If you'd like to sign up to submit your original work OR be a reader, see Miss Stevens in the Learning Commons by Tuesday, Feb. 13.
Dungeons and Dragons
The new semester is upon us and the D&D Club is taking new members! If you're interested in taking on an awesome weekly RPG, this is the club for you! Our first meeting of the semester will be Monday, Feb. 5 after school in the Learning Commons.
