Mr. Macken's Message
Check out the message below regarding our upcoming Direct Drive Fundraiser.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Volunteer Spotlight: Kristi Ganske
I am a part of the PTA, was the co-lead for the book fair last year, and have enjoyed shopping for teacher supplies this fall. I also love it when I get the opportunity to help in my kids' classrooms.
Why did you decide to volunteer at Centerville?
I like being involved and getting to know the teachers, staff, other kids, and parents.
What is your favorite part about volunteering?
My favorite part of volunteering is seeing how excited the kids get when they see an adult they know helping out during school. I also love seeing the kids interacting with one another.

Serve the community by reading aloud to others
Does your elementary schooler enjoy reading aloud? If so, your young reader
can brighten other people’s days by reading to them.
Together, research places where you and your child can volunteer to read to others.
• Local day care centers.
• After-school programs.
• Retirement homes.
• Community centers.
