A message from Dean's Den
Dear parents,
Please remember that for students, it is important to attend an entire school day in order to not miss important lessons and activities. Late arrivals and early pick-ups, while occasionally necessary, can lead to a large amount of lost instructional time. Just one week of being an hour late is equivalent to missing more than half of a day! Tardies and early pick-ups can be counted towards truancy if excessive and not excused. Our car line opens at 7:00 A.M. for early drop off convenience. As always, please give doctor's notes to Ms. Jessica at the front desk when applicable.
Sincerely Mrs. Council, Dean of Students

Winter Extravaganza Concert Jan 23, 2020
Welcome back students and parents!
We will be having a Winter Concert on January 23 at 6:30 PM in the cafeteria. Every grade level will be performing songs that they have been learning in music class. Students should be dressed in winter clothing. Jackets, scarves, gloves, and even boots are all encouraged. The cuter the better! We will also be having a potluck dinner social after the music has come to a close. This will continue until 8pm. Please let me know if you are interested in bringing a dish for the potluck dinner by filling out this form by clicking here. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to email me at nathan.humphries@osceolascience.org.
Thank you!

Sport Stacking activity & sale
PE had a guest speaker earlier this week from Speed Stacks that introduced a new activity with the students called Sport Stacking. The students had a great time while they learned different cup stacking patterns and all the rules for competition. There are competitive events and clubs throughout the country where people of all ages can participate or they can simply practice at home or with friends. Students also have the opportunity to purchase their own specially designed cup sets as well as mats and timers. This is not a requirement, simply an option for them to continue sport stacking if they wish. A portion of the proceeds does benefit the Physical Education department for us to earn sport stacking equipment as well.
If interested, please follow the link and select our school from the drop down menu. Then simply select any of the sets, mats, or timers and you're able to pay online and then print out the receipt. Bring that to one of the coaches and they will be able to pick up their equipment right here at school. If you're not able to print it out, that's ok too, we can check from our end online.
