Are you thinking about joining Girls on the Run? It's not too late! Please join us after school on Monday in the weight room to run through a mock practice and see what it would be like! The practice will be held after school until 4:00. Parents can stay after practice to fill out the registration form or register online at www.gotr.flinthills.org. Plenty of scholarships are still available!

History
This week your student learned about the Missouri Compromise, Wilmot Proviso, the Compromise of 1850, and John Brown.
We will start the week with answering the question, "Was John Brown a Hero or Terrorist?" This will be our final 80% for the 6 weeks.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.

Foundations Language Arts
- We just wrapped up guided notes on informational text on the various forms of erosion.
- On 2/26/2019, we began a new lesson by creating a hands-on model of the Layers of the Earth & Plates by using clay. Students labeled each layer of the earth.
- Students jigsawed the new section of reading in groups and presented to the class, taking notes on what they learned from each group.
