JK Library News
October 2017
Have you seen our library this week?!?
Our library is filled with pumpkins on every shelf, over 90 pumpkins to be exact! This month students participated in the 2017 Storybook Pumpkin patch. But that's not all we did! Read on to see what kept us so busy this month.
Sparkle the Unicorn
Sparkle was one of the first pumpkins in the library. The students loved seeing one of the 2x2 characters as a pumpkin.
Dog Man
The most commonly asked book at JK is Dog Man. RIght after we took this picture, sa student checked out this book.
Telma la Unicornio
The amazing thing about JK is we are a dual language campus. Pumpkins come from books in English and books in Spanish.
Book Fair Success! Thank you for your support!
Howdy JK Readers!
Our students, staff, and community supported the library by purchasing books that in turn allowed us to purchase more books for our library.
A horse in the library?
Student Council President and Vice President joined Ms. Sanchez on the morning announcements as horses to encourage everyone to come to the book fair.
Class Visits and Wish Lists
Every class visited the book fair and made their wish lists in hopes that they could get a brand new book. Even our teachers made wish lists! Lots of wishes were granted.

Library Catalog-Lesson Highlight

Don't forget! You can check out ebooks too!
Students and parents can checkout ebooks! Students will use their launchpad login. For more information, stop by the library. We'd be happy to help you!
