Microsoft Warns To Look Out For This Massive Covid-19 Excel Phishing Attack This week, Microsoft warned about a massive phishing attack that looks like it is from Johns Hopkins University and has an Excel attachment which claims to have stats about the number of coronavirus deaths in America. If you open that attachment and click on 'Enable Content', it will download software that allows cybercriminals to take over your computer and steal confidential information. So don't open any Excel files from Johns Hopkins! NOTE: there will be more scams like this, so please remember to always Think Before You Click! | What the CDC's 'Guidelines' for Reopening Schools Actually Say As we wrap up this school year with virtual graduations and drive-by celebrations, parents everywhere are asking: What will school look like in the fall? The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) weighed in this week with a list of recommendations school leaders should consider as they reopen during the pandemic—but its advice reads more like “just do your best” than “here’s what you have to do.” https://offspring.lifehacker.com/what-the-cdcs-guidelines-for-reopening-schools-actually-1843607157 | How to Respond if Your Friends Share COVID-19 MisinformationWe’ve probably all got somebody on our friends list who’s been sharing a lot of suspect information about the coronavirus. Tip of the Day
Want to impress friends and family on your next Zoom meet-up –- whatever your need, these are the Zoom shortcuts for you.
Screen sharing is a really useful part of Zoom that allows you to carry out presentations and share images and videos or files without actually sending any. It means you know everyone is seeing the same thing at the same time, which allows you to speak along in time knowing everyone can follow.
Start a screen share on Zoom with a PC by using Alt + S. On a Mac it's Cmd + Ctrl + S.
