Dolphin Splash

10.15.2021 7th Edition

Although the ability to create content in this app is for people aged 13 and older, many have learned that many students from our school are part of this community. As you know it is very important for parents to be aware of this social platform. The National PTA (Parent Teacher Association) has collaborated with TikTok to create a Guide for Parents. Please click HERE for the link to the document. Parents may be particularly interested in pages 13, 14 and 16-19. These pages discuss ways for parents to be more aware of their child’s activity on TikTok and how to control some of the settings on their child’s TikTok app.

Missing Materials

Our Young LMC is still working to collect materials that were sent home at the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year. Each student in K-5 received a blue bag with resources from their teacher, as well as two LMC books. Hundreds of those books are still gone from our library. Please check at home to see if you still have any books from the LMC. They should have a barcode label on the back and another label on the spine. Thank you for your help locating books from Young.

You can donate a book to Young’s LMC to honor your student and help build our library collection. Go to Use the following link to access our wish list. The books will be sent directly to school from Amazon.
