Stronger Together

"Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results." --Andrew Carnegie

Class Coverage

Georgia School Personnel Survey

The Georgia School Personnel Survey (GSPS) is modeled after the student survey and includes 31 questions. The GSPS is for all staff (certified and classified) who work at least 50 percent of the day in the school. Survey responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis. Data results from the Georgia School Personnel Survey will not be available to the public and will not be posted online.

The results of this survey are a part of our School Climate Star rating included in our CCRPI score.

From Patty:

We are quickly sliding back into "testing season". Grade chairs will be discussing the upcoming DAs with you for scheduling purposes, and information regarding Milestones will begin to roll out. Know that there will most be an increase in emails from me-so heads up :-)

Hope everyone has a great weekend! Stay warm and hope you have the chance for a little relaxation and fun!

From Erline:

Please continue to let me know if we need to schedule an SST meeting for a student.

Safety and Security

When we do a fire drill from now on we will be making sure we account for all adults as well as students. So it may take a little longer to finish our drills.

GA Health Survey Grades 3-5

All students in grades 3-5 will be taking the Georgia Student Health Survey on Wednesday, February 17th.. The survey includes 11 questions and is administered online through a URL address (icon on the desktop). The survey will take no more than 10-15 minutes to complete. Classroom teachers will need to read each question aloud to their students. Classroom teachers will administer the survey to their own class. A schedule with directions will be sent via email next week.

We will be sending letters home to parents on Friday, February 5th. All students will take the survey UNLESS the parent returns the permission form indicating they DO NOT want their child to participate. You will be getting class sets of parent letters in your mailboxes. Please let your children know that they ONLY return the letter if the parent does NOT want them to participate.

The results will be a part of our CCRPI score.

Thanks for your help in completing this survey!
