The Weekly Hoot
January 13 - January 19, 2020
Greetings All -
We made it through the first week back! It seemed like it lasted forever! LOL! Three days can seem like 30 at times!! All of you have been back in the swing in the classroom though. I have peeped into lots of windows this week and saw lots of great stuff going on!
This next week, as far as school goes, is pretty uneventful. We will all just try and get back in school mode and get ready for the spring semester. We will be giving the 1st grade dyslexia screener this week so Donna is going to be very busy with that. I am going to try and help her as much as I can. It is a tedious, but necessary, task for sure.
Observation season is upon us as well. Dr. Fiaschetti and I will begin unannounced walkthroughs the week of January 20 when we get back from Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. My plan is for us to be finished with them before we leave for Spring Break.
Remember that we will begin the new Tier schedules and new Wednesday schedule this week. I am sure it will be like the beginning of each nine weeks where we are scrambling a little. :)
I hope everyone has a great weekend. The weather people have me a little bit alarmed about this evening's weather, but hopefully we just get some much needed rain and no bad storms. I will see you all on Monday!
Love to all,
Marcy
