WMMS Tiger Times

September 2019 Edition

A Note from the Principal's Office

I hope the start of this school year has been smooth for the families of William Matthew Middle School! I have enjoyed getting to know our students and am excited to see all that they will accomplish this year!

Each day our students enter the middle school commons, they are greeted by the quote, "Today we want you to think about all that you ARE instead of all that you are not". Throughout the year, it is our goal to help every student understand how their presence helps make WMMS a better place. We are so glad they are a part of our middle school community!

In an effort to include parents in our middle school community, I will send a newsletter out at the beginning of each month to help keep you connected to what is happening at the middle school. This newsletter will be shared on our website, Facebook page, and via email. If you would like to receive this newsletter directly to your inbox, please subscribe by clicking here to add your email address.

I am highlighting other ways of staying in touch throughout this newsletter. Please keep reading!

Here's to a great year!

WMMS Tutoring Program

In years past, the middle school has offered a free tutoring program. Attendance for this program has been declining in recent years. We need your feedback to determine what type of program would best meet the needs of your child. If you would be interested in having your child attend a tutoring program, please click here to take a short survey.
