Hunting Ridge Hawk Happenings

October 31, 2021

Happy Halloween!

Hunting Ridge Families:

We hope that everyone enjoyed this beautiful weekend. We enjoyed a spirit week with our Hunting Ridge hawks this week that ended with our Halloween parties. Thank you to all of the PTA parents that made our parties and pumpkin decorating possible this month.

It is important to us at Hunting Ridge that we provide a community of care and support to our families, especially when faced with financial hardship. Additionally, our district may be able to connect families with needed supports outside of the school. Please do not hesitate to reach out to see if we might be able to help your family in the coming months.

Cold Weather

The weather is changing. Please make sure that students are prepared for the weather. We recommend dressing in layers that are marked with your child's name on each item. When the snow begins, students wanting to play in the snow will need boots, snow pants, and gloves. Feel free to send clothing in a bag to make it easier for kinds to place their clothing in one place. Please have your child practice putting on boots, gloves, snow pants, and zipping coats. This will help your child transition inside and outside more independently.
