Better Together

Dear Wiggin Street Families,

Happy St. Patrick's Day! We wish you the best luck today and everyday. Our students didn't need luck to attend the PBIS Dance Reward yesterday. They earned it by being respectful of themselves, others, and the space. We are super proud of them!

Ms. Norah Krajenski was also our Principal of the Day yesterday. She made the morning announcement, observed classrooms, and rewarded students with brag tags for positive behavior. She also enjoyed helping get things set up for the dance.

Check out all the fun pictures and videos from this week in this update! It was hard not to include all of the photo booth pictures from the dance because they were so fun and adorable.

We hope you have a great weekend!

Best wishes,

Christy Grandstaff

March 27th 2-hour Delayed Start

On March 27th, MVCSD will have a 2-hour delayed for teacher professional development. Our elementary teachers will be using the additional time to complete Dyslexia training modules through Ohio Department of Education.

Grades 3-5 Ohio State Testing Dates

Please keep these dates in mind when scheduling appointments for April. Make-up testing takes some of our educators away from intervention instruction, so we like to limit it as much as possible.

3rd-5th Grade ELA: April 12-13

3rd-5th Grade Math: April 18-19

5th Grade Science: April 25-26

This site for students and families has lots of great information about the state test and 3rd grade Reading Guarantee. It also has a practice test that can be found in the image at the top of the page.
