Equity Partnerships: A Culturally Proficient Guide to Family, School, and Community Engagement
Teachers and administrators vested in the education of English Language Learners will come together for an online book study of the book, "Equity Partnerships; A Culturally Proficient Guide to Family, School, and Community Engagement" by Clark-Loque, Lindsey, Quezada, & Jew.
Beginning the week of July 6th and wrapping up the week of August 28th , participants will read and discuss ways to foster more culturally inclusive partnerships with families and communities that go beyond parent-teacher conferences. The course will take place through at your own pace online SCHOOLOGY discussions and two live ZOOM meetings TBD by participant availability.
Participants can earn up to 20 CTLE credits. Books can be purchased online (Corwin is currently offering a 25% discount) but everyone is encouraged to support local and purchase from Lift Bridge Book Shop. Have the book shipped to your home.
