I tell new teachers all of the time, "it is all a downhill slide after Spring Break", but this year has been in hyper warp speed in my opinion. It is hard to believe we are already talking about the end of school and summer plans. I have a senior and it is a bit surreal. We have ordered the announcements, senior pictures, cap and gown, all of the things...and I STILL can't believe it is really happening. I am looking forward to the next few weeks and all of the fun that they will bring.

I am proud of each and every one of our students at Pleasant Hill Elementary. As an adult, I have learned so much from them. They love and appreciate people in ways that we don't always experience as an adult. And for that, I am very thankful. Looking forward to a strong finish from everyone!

The last day of school is Thursday, May 26 and it is an early-release day. We get out of school at 11:40 AM and we WILL NOT be serving lunch on that day.

This is officially teacher appreciation week!

What a year it has been for everyone, but especially our PHEnomenal teachers! Our PHE PTA has organized a fun week of daily tips on how to support and thank your teacher. See more information below. Please take a moment to fill out the "All About My Child" form that was shared last month. The deadline has been extended to Sunday, May 8.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with valuable information about your student. All input will be used for classroom arrangements for 2022-2023 classes.

This year we will be hosting fifth grade crossing over ceremonies to commemorate the years that our Huskies have been at PHE and their moving on to middle school. We will be hosting the ceremony on Tuesday, May 24th at 8:30 AM. Doors will NOT open until 8:15 AM. More information will be shared via 5th grade teachers.

We are so proud of these students and cannot wait to celebrate their accomplishments! Please reach out to your teacher if you have any questions.

Our amazing librarian, Ms. Green, will be sharing Paws on Print dates very soon! We have a mobile library that can be taken out into the community to share books with children and adults. We want our students to continue to read, read, read all summer and keep those skills fresh! Look for more information soon.
