Hyperbole and a Half by Allie Brosh was a overall fantastic book. This book feature mini stories of funny things that have happened in her life time. My favorite story in this book is "The Parrot". When Allie Brosh says, "The toy parrot was given to us by a family friend who either didn't understand children or hated my parents." This shows foreshadowing that something bad is going to happen. Also when Aliie Brosh says, Imagine a grizzly bear. Now imagine that by some acident of nature, the bear sprouts wings and learns how to use a flame thrower. That would be a really unfair thing to have happen. Bears are already powerful enough without those things." she uses Hyperbole to state her point. In addition when Allie Brosh says, "We began abusing the parrot's capabilities almost immediatly." This is another hint of foreshadowing. Hyperbole and a Half by Allie Brosh had 378 pages
