January 2022
Dear families,
Happy 2022!
December was an exciting month in the building and full of celebrations, traditions and fun! Students enjoyed a school-wide sing-a-long and a visit from the High School Chamber Choir, Holiday Fun Week, special screen time during lunch, first grade writing celebrations, Winter Market, gingerbread making, and the third graders spent a day at 'Camp Read Aloud.'
The New Year has certainly kept us on our toes with regards to the changing landscape of Covid. The district remains dedicated to the safety of our students and staff, while prioritizing in-person learning and high academic standards.
Guidance from our state and local health departments are changing frequently and we understand this may be confusing and frustrating for families. Mr. DiFulvio communicates with families regularly regarding these changes. Please make sure that your email address and phone numbers are up to date in our system so you receive the messages. If you have recently moved or changed numbers, please notify the main office.
Thank you all for your continued patience and understanding as we navigate through a new year with new challenges. Amidst these challenges, I hope you all find a sense of hope and optimism in what 2022 will bring to you and your family!
Be well,
Mrs. Kara May
