Poetry Overview

There are many types of poetry. Some are short. Some are long. Some rhyme, some don't. Some are easier for me to write than others.

A haiku poem is seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five. Haiku usually is about the natural world, but it does not have to be.
