The kids are working on finishing up their nonfiction books, they are doing a really great job with these! In the next week or so, students will be choosing a writing project they want to present for Young Author's Day.

Please look in your child's goal binder for their Friday letter home and write back!

Social Studies- Economics

In social studies students applied their knowledge of opportunity cost to producers and consumers. They also completed a project on the production steps required to make a certain good. We will continue learning about goods, services, needs, wants, and types of resources next week.

We are currently learning about cause and effect in reading. Students worked on reading a variety of fiction and nonfiction passages to identify cause and effect within the text.
