Anne Bishop--Social Studies
Welcome, Seahawks! I will be teaching you all about the world in the first year of a 2-year of World Geography course—we’ll travel (virtually) to Australia, Canada, Latin America and Europe! In my own life, I wear many hats: mother, retired military wife, teacher, writer, reader, world traveler, exerciser and animal lover. I have a Bachelor’s of Arts in Sociology and a Master’s in Education, licensed for Social Studies and English Language Arts in grades 4 through 8, and am Gifted Certified. I've taught 4th grade, 7th and 8th grade ELA and am now a proud 6th grade Social Studies teacher. This is my 5th year at Coastal Middle School. My family and I enjoy traveling, and I really enjoy sharing those experiences with my students to make the regions we study come alive.
