Unselfishness
is a must have characteristic for leadership
Definition of Unselfishness:
A strong independent leader is not selfish. This individual all ways up others before themselves, and gives credit to other where it is due. This leader does not ever shed glory upon themselves but always on other people in the community.
Nelson Mandela
Mandela was the first black South African president. He stood for social and human rights and created many civil disobedience campaigns that were against apartheid laws. Mandela stood for what he and the people believes in, human rights. Nelson stood for what he believed in even if it meant being imprisoned for twenty- seven years.
Tom Brady
Tom Brady the quarter back of the NFL New England Patriots gave up money from his twenty million dollar contract in order to have a more rounded football team. In the end he only received a pay of approximately nine million dollars.
Pope Francis
Pope Francis worships and values tolerance, equality, and humanitarianism, not only for himself but thw rest of the world too. This Pope does a great job to always include everyone and makes the chruch a warm and tender place. He is moving the chruch in the right direction.
