Singapore was ranked the world’s most expensive place for expatriates in a March survey, but in a new study by consulting firm ECA International, the city-state does not even make the top 20. The global ranking found that Venezuela’s capital Caracas was the world’s most expensive city for expatriates out of the 257 surveyed. And that no city in Asia ranked within the top 10.
