WEEK OF RESPECT INFORMATION
The Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act (P.K.2010, c.122) requires that the week beginning with the first Monday in October of each year be designated as the Week of Respect in New Jersey.
Our district is observing the Week of Respect (October 5th - October 9th) by providing age-appropriate instruction focusing on preventing and remediating harassment, intimidation, and/or bullying, in both an in-person and virtual setting. The week has been filled with lessons, discussions, morning announcements, and activities organized by the Anti-Bullying Specialists in each of our buildings. Many thanks to them for their hard work and commitment, as well as teachers and administrators for their support. As the week comes to an end, our hope is that the lessons on respect and how to take care of one another carry over into the days, weeks and months to come.
