Custom kits using the school supply list can be preordered and sent directly to the school for the 2021/2022 school year. You can order these kits until July 22, 2021. Please go to brightschoolkitz.com and enter Mays Chapel to see your students supply list and order. A small portion of sales will be donated to the PTO.

Note Regarding First In Math

Students will have access to FIM through most of August. There will be a temporary outage later in August to support the transition to the next school year. Students can gain access to the program through the BCPS Links Folder in the upper left corner of their screen on the toolbar when they open the google chrome browser

Building Mathematical Thinkers

Summer Technology Reminders

Laptops

  • All students in grades K-11 will keep the device issued to them by BCPS for the summer. Students transitioning from 8th grade to 9th grade will be provided a designated time this summer to switch out their Chromebook for a Windows based device.

  • Complete a BCPS technology ticket for student devices that are in need of repair. The link for entering a ticket can be found on www.bcps.org under the Tech Support menu.

Hotspots

  • All existing hotspots will be disabled as of 8/24/2021 and will need to be returned at the start of the school year
