KLEINTALKS: APRIL 14, 2018
Klein ISD tech-savvy students participating in extracurricular coding clubs are training for a challenge of coding skills! On April 19th and 20th, 2018 at the KMPC students will come together to match skills in a Quick Challenge event, a District Challenge, or demonstrate a completed coding project. We can't wait to see all of those challenging coders in action!
A hackathon is best described as an “invention marathon”. Anyone who has an interest in technology attends a hackathon to learn, build & share their creations over the course of a weekend in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. You don’t have to be a programmer and you certainly don’t have to be in a Computer Science class.
- Open ended challenges with cool prizes
- Learn new languages, work with new APIs, create new solutions
- 24 hours of fun innovation
- Connect with companies and their developers throughout the event
