Monk Fryston Weekly News 10.12.21

The school target for next week is;

remember to have fun.

Coronavirus.

Thank you for remaining vigilant for symptoms of Coronavirus. We are pleased that cases appear to have slowed down in school and no new cases have been reported for several days. Year 6 will end their segregation this weekend and will rejoin the rest of school next week.

Christmas Market

Thank you to everyone who organised, contributed to, and attended the Christmas Market last Saturday. Sadly, the weather was very much against us meaning that we had to cancel the craft marquee for safety reasons, but we managed to soldier bravely on with other activities and have raised £315.98 towards new Chromebooks. It was great to see those children and families who supported us, and hope they all enjoyed their visit.

Christmas Singalong

Unfortunately, restrictions prevent us from opening up our traditional Christmas singalong to parents this year, and the recent changeable weather prevents us from planning to hold this outside. Children will still have a singalong event together in the hall on the last day but visitors will not be allowed this year.

Remote Learning Questionnaire

You will have received a Google Form questionnaire about remote learning today. Please do try to submit a response by next Friday, which we will use to inform our provision should we find ourselves having to deliver remote learning through another lockdown.

Your child will have brought home a collecting box (candle) for the Children’s Society last week.
