Funding Opportunity: 100WomenStrong Addiction and Recovery Initiative Grants
100WomenStrong announces pilot Addiction and Recovery Initiative in Loudoun County. Nonprofit organizations, government agencies or school systems who directly and specifically impact Loudoun County are invited to apply for funds for new or existing programs addressing prevention or treatment of substance misuse and addiction. Celebrating 20 Years: Platinum Achievement Awards
June marked the Community Foundation's 20th anniversary! Current and past Board members, fund holders, and community partners attended a Platinum Celebration garden party, sponsored by Wells Fargo. Three nonprofits demonstrating significant internal achievements were also honored as Platinum Achievement Awardees, receiving $2,000 grants. The 2019 Platinum Achievement Awardees are: INMED Partnerships for Children, Loudoun Hunger Relief, and Crossroads Jobs. Learn more.

"We are committed to making the experience of getting food from the pantry as easy and dignified as possible. We are open six days a week, including evenings to accommodate work schedules, and we give out snacks to children in the lobby to make things a little easier for parents. In our recently reorganized space, visitors can select fresh produce, bakery items, and groceries they need and will use—instead of being handed a generic bag." Learn more.
