Remote or In-Person?
I want to honor your right to privacy however, I'm finding it almost impossible to make a plan for the return to school this fall without knowing who has applied for remote teaching. If you have applied to teach remotely and you fall into one of the three tiers that HR is looking to possibly approve, would you mind letting me know? You don't have to reply if you don't feel comfortable. HR is not planning to let me know who has been approved until at least Aug. 5, which means we could be switching grade-level assignments at that time.

Child Care When We Report Back to School
We have received information that staff who have school-aged children can bring them to school for the weeks of August 12-Sept. 4. The only requirements are that they have to be school-aged, they have stay with you in your space, and cannot interfere with your ability to do your job.

Guidance for Staff in the Building
Many of you are starting to ask if you can come to the building to work in your classrooms. You are welcome to be in the building if you choose to do so. Here are the requirements as explained to me by Safety and Security:
- If you come in during regular hours, you need to stop by the office and fill out the symptom screening form. It's super easy (takes about 5 seconds) and we'll show you what to do.
- If you are working alone in your room, you do not need to wear a mask, but you do need a mask if you are in any common spaces.
- Please take a Clorox wipe (if there are any to be found) and wip down any surfaces that you touch (copier, laminating machine, etc) after you are done.
- No one may be in the building besides staff members.
- You must be out of the building by 8 pm.
