Breakfast with the Principal was a Success!

HSE-Austin hosted its first Breakfast with the Principal on Friday, August 23rd. Several parents, family members, and guardians participated in this event and used the time to collaborate with Harmony School of Excellence's new principal, Ashley Gorman. While sipping coffee and snacking on goodies, the group discussed exciting upcoming events, clubs, PTO membership, suggestions for the 2019-2020 school year, and much, much more! The event was a huge success. A huge thank you goes to our incredible parents and participants! If you were unable to attend the first meeting last Friday, no worries. We will host Breakfast with the Principal once a month. Please join us at our next session from 7:30 am - 9:00 am on Friday, September 20th. Breakfast will be served in HSE's front lobby. We look forward to seeing you there!

Harmony Public Schools Volunteer Program

A volunteer is a person rendering services for or on behalf of the school on school premises or at a school-sponsored or school-related activity on or off school property. Anyone who wants to participate as a volunteer must register using the HPS Volunteer application at http://harmonytx.voly.org . and become a fan of HSE Austin!

An approved HPS volunteer may serve in many ways depending on their interests. Tuesday, Sep. 17th, 6-7pm

HSE Austin Cafeteria

The HSE-Austin PTO invites you to partner with us to work alongside our teachers and administration to enrich our students’ experience.

We all know children learn more and have better lives when parents, school staff, students and the community work together. The PTO strives to bring these groups together to share thoughts and ideas about programs and activities that benefit children and families.

Some of the programs that the HSE-Austin PTO has sponsored are donations of the classroom and school supplies, school dances, graduations, and teacher appreciation events.

RSVPs are enabled for this event.

Welcome back GATE!

Welcome back GATE students and families!

My name is Victoria Rossi and I am the gifted and talented coordinator and teacher at HSE. We learned a lot last year! We learned about coding robotic spheres and digital design at the Apple store. We went downtown to Silicon Labs to learn about what engineers do in the real world. We participated in the science fair. I'm excited for this new year to come! If you have a student who you think would qualify for the Gifted and Talented program, please reach out to me at vwang@harmonytx.org and I will follow up with details about how to join our program!

Healthy This Year ?

Welcome back to a new school year I hope you all had a great summer break. As we know; a healthy body creates a sharp mind. This is a reminder that we must keep our students in school most of the time this year to enable good grades. Our efforts must include updated immunizations, healthy breakfast (School provides @ 7:30 AM daily), and good sleep. Encourage your students to increase water intake during recess and outdoor activities. Practice good sleep by taking / (shutting down) all students' electronic devices by 9 PM daily ( including weekends). Remember, submit all updated immunizations, affidavits, and medication forms to the health office. The deadline to submit all immunizations and affidavit is September 30, 2019.
