There are no cap and gown sales or deliveries at TRHS.
Alamodome Expectations: Alamodome has its own rules & regulations; please watch the Dome's video and read the safety measures here
Tickets
All graduates will be provided a maximum of six (6) graduation tickets, which will be required for entrance into the Alamodome for the ceremony on May 31st. So, please keep them somewhere where they will not be misplaced or forgotten. Due to the social distancing seating set-up within the Alamodome all tickets provided are assigned seats. While we are unable to guarantee that all families will be able to sit together, we will do our best.
Please complete this graduation ticket survey on or before Sunday, May 9th at 11:59 PM, which will assign your graduate a random number. Please note, the survey will only allow you to submit one entry per graduate.
We will communicate the ticket distribution plans in the coming weeks.

Semester Exam Exemptions
The window for students to submit their semester exam exemptions will open on Wednesday, May 12th at 7:00am, and the window will close on Friday, May 14th at 4:30pm. Students will submit exam exemptions through their Student Access portal. Deadline extensions will not be granted. Please see the links below for more information on exam exemptions including directions on how students can submit their exemptions.
A couple reminders:
- Students can only enter their exemption request 1 time. They can request up to 3 exemptions, and when the student clicks submit they cannot be changed.
- To qualify for the exam exemption, the course semester average must be 85.

Virtual Saturday School for Semester 2
There is also an option to register online. All online registrations and payments must be successfully submitted no later than 4PM on any given Thursday leading up to a scheduled Saturday School. A registration link is emailed out each week and the following information is required to register and pay online:
- Date of Saturday School student is registering for
- Student ID#
- Official Student Last Name
- Official Student First Name

Yearbook Information
Yearbooks will be in at the end of the month. Mark your calendars for drive thru pick-up May 25th during all lunches and May 26th from 5pm-7pm. You will need a copy of your receipt or a photo ID. You can still reserve a copy of this historic book for $60 at www.yearbookforever.com and search for Roosevelt High School, Windcrest Texas) until we sell out.

Snack Shak
Hunger impacts a child’s ability to learn. Snack Pak 4 Kids - San Antonio (SP4K- SA) provides weekly food supplements to serve the needs of chronically hungry children, addressing the relationship between food insecurity and learning. At Snack Pak 4 Kids, we believe every teen deserves access to the food they need to learn on Monday mornings. And, by providing them with brand new, brand-name products, we’re able to ensure students are always treated with dignity and respect! Currently our program will serve only IN-PERSON learners at this time. If distance learners needs assistance, please contact M. Mendiola, Family Specialist.

Roosevelt Family Specialist
Melissa Mendiola is Roosevelt's Family Specialist. Her email is mmendi2@neisd.net. Ms. Mendiola is available to assist with any needs or issues in a student's home life that can negatively affect a student's ability to excel at school. She is able to provide support and services for all students and their families, creating a true connection between home, school, and community. The family specialist's role is to bridge the gap of communication between parents, the school, and the community and provide resources to families who are experiencing barriers, and to empower all parents to fulfill their role as child’s first teacher.

Highlights for District, Area, and upcoming State Meets include:
100/200M: Nazzio John (District Champion/State Qualifier: Broke District Record in 100 and 200)
4x200: Aime Torbert, Quenten McCree, Valeur Muyoboke, Nazzio John (Regional Finalist Top 4 Finish at Regionals)
District Meet and Regional Meet was held at Heroes Stadium, and Area Meet took place at Rutledge Stadium. The State Meet is scheduled for Saturday, May 8th.

Wrestling Year in Review
- One of the most successful years as a team that our program has seen in 15 years
- Boys Dual record was 13-7 with big wins over Reagan, Churchill, Steele, Smithson Valley, and Vista Ridge
- Boys had 6 Regional Qualifiers and placed 4th in the Region (out of 34 teams)
- Boys sent 3 wrestlers to STATE for the first time in 15 years
- Girls had a 9-9 dual record
- Girls had 2 Regional Qualifiers
