Diamond View Middle School

Mrs. Heimbigner, Principal

Welcome Panthers

Dear Parents, Families, and Students,

I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the newly appointed principal of Diamond View Middle School. My name is Dede Heimbigner, and I have been a classroom teacher for over nineteen years. I come to Diamond View with an Administrative Services Credential from Simpson University, a K-8 Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and a Masters Degree in Teaching from Sierra Nevada College. I am a fourth-generation Lassen County native who once was and who is still at heart, a DV Panther.

Middle school is a challenging and important time in a preteen and a teenager’s life. I remember my time at Diamond View being full of ups and downs. Knowing I had a team of teachers, support staff, and administrators that went above and beyond to help me become my personal best and strive for academic excellence was vital.

I plan to continue with the current school program with minimal changes to policies and procedures. I plan to continue the great work that the prior administrators, Mrs. Huber and Mr. Waddell, had started while remaining open to new ideas. The high academic expectations that Diamond View students have become accustomed to and the culture of the campus during this change of leadership will be a top priority for me. I believe the best outcomes are possible when parents and school staff work together to combine their expertise and knowledge. Please stop in and introduce yourself. If you would like to make an appointment to meet with me, you can call the school office or email me directly to set up an appointment.

I look forward to meeting and working with you.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Heimbigner, Principal
