A Message from the Principal...
Dear friends,
Just a quick update on master schedule, hiring and the quad renovation...
Master Schedule - We will begin allocating sections today in hopes of beginning to place sections later this week. The following four teachers will assist with this project: Michelle Cruz, Jenn Faulkner, Amy Hillebrecht and Julie Spychalski.
Hiring - We are interviewing PE transfer candidates on Tuesday and if one is not selected, we will screen for other applicants. We are interviewing several NSH candidates on Wednesday. Other jobs will continue to be posted for transfer as the master schedule begins to take shape and we have a better understanding of specific needs.
Quad Renovation - Phase one of the project is scheduled to be completed by mid-May and definitely before the Band Concert on May 29th. Phase two (locker removal and replacement with bench seating) will take place this summer.
Fun times! Have a great week!

A note about makeups: We have tried to test during RAM, but have found our students need more time, thefore we are going to test during PE. Starting Monday, we have 151 students to test. Wish us luck!

One Book, One Twin Peaks: Legend by Marie Lu
What was once the western United States is now home to the Republic, a nation perpetually at war with its neighbors. Born into an elite family in one of the Republic's wealthiest districts, fifteen-year-old June is a prodigy being groomed for success in the Republic's highest military circles. Born into the slums, fifteen-year-old Day is the country's most wanted criminal. But his motives may not be as malicious as they seem.
From very different worlds, June and Day have no reason to cross paths—until the day June's brother, Metias, is murdered and Day becomes the prime suspect. Caught in the ultimate game of cat and mouse, Day is in a race for his family's survival, while June seeks to avenge Metias's death. But in a shocking turn of events, the two uncover the truth of what has really brought them together, and the sinister lengths their country will go to keep its secrets (Good Reads).
