Service to our Community
Ruby Marie Altenberg
For 6 years now every Friday afternoon, she visits the Life Care Center of Ooltewah. She brings her therapy dogs and visits the residents. Some residents have watched her grow up over the years, they love her and the dogs.
Kenadi Baughman
Visited shut-ins from Bayside Baptist church and delivered gifts and sang hymns to them. She also served at Bayside’s Wild Game Dinner and worked at the Ronald McDonald House cleaning and serving lunch.
Ellie Campbell
Has participated in the Zoo Club at the Chattanooga Zoo. They meet every month as a group to create animal enrichment projects and learn about conservation and animal science. The fall semester focused on “Watersheds” and spring was on “Pollinators.”

Go to YCAP weekly to tutor boys. They also serve an inner-city non-profit ministry out of Opelousas, Louisiana.

Chosen to participate in New York Fashion Week! As part of our IMPACT program, she not only represented Silverdale but all who struggle with learning disabilities. We are so proud of Anna Kate and all of her accomplishments!

Junior Beta Convention
The National Junior Beta Club Convention was held at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville in November. Thirty 7th and 8th grade students participated in the many competitions that were available. All performed with excellence.

DUKE Academic Talent Identification Program
Due to their excellent performance on last year’s grade-level standardized test, the following 6th and 7th grade students qualified to participate in the Duke University Talent Identification Program 4th-6th grade Grade Talent Search.
FCA Leadership Training
Several of our middle and high school students attended the FCA Leadership Training held at Ridgedale Baptist Church. These students worked with members of the local FCA chapter to build stronger leadership and discipleship skills and truly understand the vision of this organization.
