Informational meeting & Registration Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 6:00 pm in AIS cafetorium

What: AIS 6th grade field trip 2017

When: Camp McDowell field trip will be Wednesday, March 29- Friday, March 31, 2017. We will take school buses and leave around 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 and return on Friday, March 31, 2017 around 1:30 p.m.

Where: Camp McDowell, approximately 1.5 hours from Athens, is located just south of the Bankhead National Forest in Nauvoo, AL .

Cost: $200 which includes everything (all food and snacks, transportation, cabins, excursions, and a matching shirt for AIS campers). Souvenirs are not included, so you'll need to send money for that if interested. (The souvenir shop is very small.)

Transportation: School buses Full Time Nurse on Staff at Camp McDowell.


Informational meeting & Registration: Thursday night, February 09, 2017 at 6:00 pm in the AIS cafetorium


Money Due: We will accept the full $200 payment for Camp McDowell on Thursday night, February 09, 2017. Cash or checks should be made to Athens Intermediate School. Phone numbers must be included on checks. NO PARTIAL PAYMENT WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Bring a copy of the front and back of the insurance card with you to the informational meeting.

DEADLINE: Registration papers (including copy of insurance card front and back) must be complete and turned in no later than Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 3:00 p.m.

Incomplete paperwork or unpaid students will be moved to the end of the waiting list.
