2018 Educational Foundation of the Chesters Read-A-Thon Winners
It’s official! The 2018 Educational Foundation of the Chesters Read–A-Thon was a huge success! There were 252 students who participated this year. We celebrate our young readers from Dickerson and Bragg who together logged 220,787 minutes, which is an increase from last year! We thank the parents, friends, principals, and teachers who supported the students and their efforts to raise close to $13,000 in pledges! This fundraising effort will continue to provide funding for grants, purchases of technology to support innovative classroom learning programs, new school clubs, and more!
Congratulations to the following classes for achieving the highest participation rate of their grade. They have been awarded $100 Amazon Gift Cards.

The Educational Foundation of the Chesters wishes to thank the parents, teachers, and principals who support our children every day and who have made this program a huge success. The ultimate goal of the Read-A-Thon is to foster a life-long love of reading, and the children of Chester are well on their way!
We also want to express our deepest gratitude to Lisa Smith and Ellen Fergus who ran this wonderful program and made it all possible for our students.

Congratulations to Ms. Sara Kozlowski who was named the 2019 New Jersey Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance Mary Jo Young School Health Teacher of the Year Award Winner!
This is an extremely distinguished award and simply confirms Ms. Kozlowski's dedication to excellence in her profession. Winning a statewide award is a tremendous honor and well deserved by Ms. Kozlowski.
