The Hall Way...
It was a great week to be a Warhawk! This morning we had a breakfast for our September Students of the Month. Congratulations to the students that have started the year off strong and exemplify what it means to BE A WARHAWK!
Our sixth graders participated in a Ground Water Festival here on Thursday. Members of MCSEEP (McHenry County Schools Environmental Education Program) were at Northwood to share their expertise and knowledge with our inquisitive sixth graders.
We will have picture retakes on Monday. If you ordered a package and would like retakes, please send the pictures back to school with your students.
Wishing all of our Northwood families a wonderful weekend!

6th Grade News
8th Grade News
8th grade mono and dual language science classes have been looking at the color change phenomenon of the Statue of Liberty. Each student made a claim as to why they think this happened and supported it with evidence. They are now monitoring experiments that they designed to try to replicate this phenomenon and prove their claims to be true.
