Classroom Spotlight: 6th Grade Heatlh: Hands Only CPR

Nurse Oyer had the chance to go in the 6th grade health classes and help Coach Corrao and Coach Pelliccia teach hands only CPR. I can not say enough great things about these young people! They ROCKED it!

Request a Birthday Song

You can help us celebrate CCMHS students’ special day in a new way starting semester 2! You can order the admin team Coyote Birthday Song for students in their lunch for 5.00 paid either by cash or checks made payable to CCMHS PBIS. Students will not only receive the birthday song by their administrators, but they will also receive a special treat. See attached flyer and order form for details. Please order at least 48 hours in advance for proper planning!

HOWLABRATION January 17th- Mark your Calendars!

January 17th, 2019 marks our 1st Semester Howlabration. CCMHS will be honoring 1st Semester students who have earned all As and all As and Bs on their report cards. Be on the look-out for invitations that will be sent home with your student after report cards are distributed.

Winter Final Exam Schedule

The CCMHS Final Exam Schedule is now available to view on the school website. Students and parents should click on the Assessments tab to view the Middle School or High School schedule. Testing will take place on Wednesday, December 19th through Friday, December 21st. Please be aware that the testing times are the same for both Middle School and High School, but the specific periods tested on Thursday and Friday differ.

SENIORS: Complete your FFAA!

Attention Seniors: It's time to complete your FFAA (Florida Financial Aid Application)! You can complete this application at:
This application is REQUIRED for the Bright Futures Scholarship. It is also used to determine eligibility for many other state scholarships and grants. Contact Mrs. Larimore for more information.

Attention Senior Parents!

Letters were mailed out his week to any family who has not yet paid their child’s graduation fee of $75. This is just a reminder that a student’s graduation fee needs to be paid by December 21, 2018. Otherwise, a late fee of $30 will be assessed. The graduation fee covers the cost of a student’s graduation gown, cap, medallion, diploma, and diploma cover. You may pay your child’s graduation fee online via our Acorn system.

Also, we received feedback from students who were having difficulty accessing Cypress Creek Middle High School on the Herff Jones website when attempting to order graduation announcements. The correct web address is When the page loads, simply type in Cypress Creek Middle High School in the search bar.

PSAT/NMSQT Score Release Information

Student scores from the PSAT administered in October will be available online to students starting December 11th. Students ages 13 and older who provided their email address on their PSAT answer sheet will receive an email reminder from the College Board explaining where and how to view their scores. Students can set up a free College Board account any time at to access scores.
