Volcanic eruptions

Describe Pyroclastic materials

What is pyroclastic Material ?

Pyroclastic material is a fragment of rock that form during a volcanic eruption. Pyroclastic material is made by Felsic magma it is light colored it is made by Silicon and Feldspar it has a high viscosity and traps more gases.

What is a Violent Eruption?

A violent Eruption of Pyroclastic material is made by Felsic magma. It is light in color and it's made by Silicon and Feldspar it has a high viscosity; and traps more gases. The shape of the volcano is shaped like a cone, because of the trapped gasses and all that pressure inside.

What is a Quiet Eruption?

A Quiet Eruption has Mafic magma. Mafic magma is made by magnesium and Iron it has a low viscosity, it has less trapped gasses and it has a very dark color because of the two rocks that combine. The shape of the volcano is shaped like a shield because of it's low viscosity, and the magma comes out like water because of it's less trapped gasses.
