Back To Hands On!
Duncan Poly's Heavy Truck Program is back to business and on the road to recovery from last years educational hiatus! Classes are back to their traditional format and hands on activities are giving students the career technical education they deserve!




Breaking Program Enrollment Records!
The Heavy Truck Program currently has the fullest classes its ever had since its inception with twenty nine Juniors and twenty six Seniors!


IDATA CTE Champion Award
The Duncan Poly Industrial Design and Applied Technology Academy awarded Kim Mesfin, President of Affinity Truck Center, the CTE Champion Award for the 2020-21 school year! The contributions of her company and the outstanding support of Duncan Poly students doesn't go unnoticed! Affinity Truck Center has been a dedicated internship partner for heavy truck students, has hosted virtual field trips while students were online last year and consistently contributes to the success of Duncan Poly's Skills USA students.



All Heavy Truck Juniors Recieve OSHA 10 Certification
All Heavy Truck Juniors worked at a steadfast pace and achieved their OSHA 10 certification which lays down a strong foundational knowledge of safety in the workplace.

Heavy Truck Junior Jagger Heidenreich Passes 4 out of 5 ASE Entry Level Exams
Heavy Truck Junior Jagger Heidenreich passed 4 out of 5 ASE Entry Level Exams pertaining to Heavy Duty Trucks! He is only the second student to do so at the Junior level in the history of the program. Shout out to Jagger for a job well done!

Technology Maintenance Council 2021
ATA's TMC Conference went live and in person this year in Cleveland, Ohio. There were numerous manufacturers displaying the upcoming electrification of the industry.




Duncan Poly Advisory Night
Duncan Poly's IDATA instructor's welcomed local industry partners and prior graduates during the annual Duncan Poly Advisory Night. Attendees were welcomed by a delicious dinner and attended pathway specific meetings after. Thank you to everyone that attended!

Skills USA Hosts Annual Fall Fest & Car Show Fundraiser
Duncan Poly's Skills USA Chapter will be hosting its first ever annual Fall fest & Car Show Fundraiser On October 30th! All of the proceeds will go to supporting Skills USA students in their competitive events. Numerous trophies will be given out to the top show cars! Please come out, show your support, look at some cool cars and grab a bite to eat!
