Principal's Message
Hello Preschool families! Happy Friday!
The students continued their studies this week with the 4-year olds learning all about what to expect in Kindergarten! What an exciting time! The 3-year olds have continued to study insects and have enjoyed watching them out on the playground and even collecting some to be studied in their classrooms.
Kindergarten enrollment has begun at the elementary schools. If your child will turn 5 by August 15th, please contact the school for which you are zoned to begin the enrollment process. If you are not sure which school your child will attend, please feel free to contact your teacher or your family advocate. They will be glad to check on this for you.
Your child’s teacher should be contacting you regarding the scheduling of the final parent/teacher conferences. We are very excited to be able to invite you into the classrooms for this important meeting. Remember, you must wear a mask that completely covers your nose and mouth the entire time you are in the building. If you are not able to wear a mask, the teachers will be glad to meet with you virtually.
Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held the week of May 17-21. Please remember that students will be dismissed early on Tuesday, May 18th.
One reminder: Please remember that students are not permitted to wear flip-flops or other shoes that do not have a back on them. This is for your child’s safety. We appreciate your cooperation!
We are enrolling now for next school year. Please spread the word to your friends and family that the time is here to enroll for preschool for next year!
Have a wonderful weekend!
