Prestwick Honored
On Tuesday evening, March 29th, David Montemayor and I attended the Urban Land Institute Impact Awards Gala Dinner and Ceremony in Dallas representing Little Elm ISD and the Prestwick STEM Academy as guests of Matthews Southwest, the developers of The Tribute.
Prestwick was nominated in the Influence category by Matthews Southwest as a public/private partnership. Prestwick made the final three in this category and last night won the Impact Award in this category. Other finalist included Legacy, submitted by the City of Plano and Oak Cliff Gateway Expansion submitted by the City of Dallas. So, great folks in the finals of this category and we came out on top.
As an attachment, a picture of Kristian Teleki Senior VP for Development from Matthews Southwest, David, and me with the award. I got to go on stage along with the Mayor of The Colony and Mr. Teleki to receive the award. There were approximately 700 people in attendance.
My best,
Lowell Strike
